The route of this world-renowned sporting event takes entrants past many historical landmarks and attracts runners from across the globe, including Olympic champions and celebrities, who run shoulder to shoulder with charity fun runners and fitness enthusiasts.
NCB is looking for runners to take part and help raise money to improve the lives of children and young people. Not only will this be a great incentive to get fit, but it also provides the opportunity to take part in a popular charity challenge with thousands of others.
Lisa Davis, one of last year's runners, said: "Taking part last year was great. At first I thought it would be difficult to run 10K and to raise the sponsorship, but in the end I managed both. NCB organised some training for us all and were always on hand to help with fundraising tips. I exceeded my target. I'm doing the run again this year and hope to better both my time and the money I raise."
