NCB Now: NCB pays tribute to Vanessa Cooper

NCB has paid tribute to Vanessa Cooper, a much-loved colleague who died on 11 February 2007 after a long battle with cancer.

Vanessa, who co-ordinated the Anti-Bullying Alliance at NCB, will beremembered among other things for her dedication to improving the livesof children and young people. She came to NCB after many years of workwith young people, schools and local authorities, and brought manystrengths to NCB and to the organisations within the Anti-BullyingAlliance.

Gill Frances, director of children's development at NCB and manager ofthe Anti-Bullying Alliance, said: "Vanessa was a wonderful woman. Shewill be greatly missed."
