Furthermore, NCB is now a member of the Memory4Teachers programme, which provides NCB resources and information on memory sticks to hundreds of thousands of teachers nationwide.
October saw the launch of the new Young NCB website, which provides a comprehensive information resource for children and young people, including information on how to participate in Young NCB's work.
It contains sections on Young NCB priorities, children's rights, upcoming events and an interactive discussion forum on issues such as transport costs, school subjects, crime and bullying.
A dedicated website for the Coalition for Rural Children and Young People (CRCYP) went live in November. The coalition, which is based at NCB and includes NSPCC, Action for Children, The Children's Society and the Prince's Trust, works at a national policy level to ensure the experiences and needs of children and young people from rural areas are reflected in children's policy. The website hosts useful resources such as information on how to involve young people in town planning in rural areas.
