The Paul Hamlyn Foundation is one of the largest grant-making organisations in the UK.

It is committed to enabling individuals to achieve their potential andhave a better quality of life, with a particular focus on children,young people and those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Through thesupport it provides to organisations, the foundation encourages thesharing of ideas, knowledge and leadership.

The new Paul Hamlyn Evaluation Resource Pack was designed to help thosein the voluntary sector evaluate their efforts. Focusing on what worksbest, as well as what needs changing, it will ultimately contribute tothe learning and development of any organisation. Using variousevaluation approaches, with an emphasis on creative and participatorymethods, the pack demonstrates methods for collecting examples of bestpractice. In this way, organisations are able to show the intrinsicvalue of what they do.
