Our best practice: "CCNUK is an independent registered charity based at the social policy research unit, University of York. We are an umbrella organisation promoting and supporting care co-ordination or key working for disabled children and their families in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Our purpose is to work in partnership with children, their families and professionals, to ensure that all families across the UK have access to high-quality care co-ordination.
"At CCNUK we aim to identify, evaluate and promote best practice and to develop effective working relationships with other organisations and government bodies. CCNUK has produced standards for key working, which were endorsed by the Government in the National Service Framework. Copies of the standards can be downloaded from our web site, where membership and resource pack application forms are also available. A directory of key worker schemes across the UK will be posted on the site in the coming months."
