NCB Now: Meeting to explore inclusion issues

The Pupil Inclusion Network's first regional meeting, which takes place in Manchester on 31 January, will explore ways of supporting the educational achievement and inclusion of Black and minority ethnic pupils.

The meeting will highlight initiatives introduced by the Department for Education and Skills in 2003 as part of an overall strategy to ensure minority ethnic attainment is a mainstream responsibility.

Delegates will hear from a range of speakers including a spokesperson from Barnardo's, who will look at how to engage Black fathers.
