NCB Now: Guide to revised EYFS framework

Last month saw the Department for Education publish the revised framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The new EYFS states that parents and carers must be given a summary of their child's development in the three prime learning and development areas of the EYFS when the child is aged between 24 and 36 months.

NCB has created a Know How Guide to help practitioners implement the EYFS progress check. The guide gives examples of how practitioners currently provide information to parents and suggests how practitioners might best approach the check when it officially comes into force from September.
