NCB Now: Guidance for Birth to Three Matters

NCB's Early Childhood Unit has produced a series of booklets to accompany the Birth to Three Matters Framework training programme.

The first two booklets focus on working with young children from minority ethnic groups and young children who have special needs or disabilities.

A third booklet on working with parents of children under three will be available this autumn.

Aimed at framework users who want to improve their working knowledge, the guides list sources of information on specific themes and general information about working with very young children.

An overview of the frameworks available for working with children from birth to three will be provided at a conference organised by the Early Childhood Forum, hosted by the unit, in Birmingham in November. The event will look at how these frameworks can be effectively implemented.
