On Track Phase Two National Evaluation
The final report from the national evaluation of On Track, an initiative implemented in 23 areas with high levels of crime and deprivation. The report finds it had a positive impact on parenting practices, but a less clear effect on the community and on individual young people.

Education of Children in Public Care
In 2004 in England, only 9 per cent of year 11 children who had been in public care for at least 12 months obtained five or more GCSEs at grades A-C, compared with an average of 54 per cent.
