NCB Now: Debate on the future for playwork

Play England is sponsoring a debate for the playwork sector on its future development and direction.

Working in collaboration with SkillsActive, the Joint National Committee for Training in Playwork, Play Wales, Play Scotland and PlayBoard Northern Ireland, Possible Futures is a project designed to provide a platform for creative discussion and debate for playworkers.

Play England will invite and publish papers, host a facilitated discussion on 17 December and stage a major conference next Spring.

Adrian Voce, director of Play England, said: "This project will help ensure that workforce development issues are informed by the practitioner."
