NCB Now: Christmas gifts for prisoners' children

In the lead up to Christmas, staff at Eden Brown, NCB's corporate sponsor of the year, donated gifts for children whose parents are in the prison system, through the NCB's Locked into Play project.

Locked into Play aims to increase opportunities for young parents in custody to play and experience meaningful contact with their children. The project works in partnership with four secure centres and a range of providers to enhance good practice in the custody system. The only contact these children have with a parent at Christmas may be in a prison visiting room. The treats donated by Eden Brown provided a welcome lift for both children and parents.
