For the Anti-Bullying Alliance (ABA) every school is at the heart of its community. It is also a unique community in itself. Sometimes bullying spills into and out of schools, so this year ABA has chosen bullying in the community as its theme, to begin to explore this aspect of bullying further.
Sadly, while it used to be that bullying was thought of as something that went on predominantly within the boundaries of the school, new technology has changed that. It is vital we address the impact of the "virtual community" on children's lives. This must be a key issue for schools.
