The theme of this year's week, from 21 to 25 November, is children and young people's participation in tackling bullying and schools are encouraged to involve pupils in planning events.
Suggestions for activities will be accessible on the web site throughout the summer. Promotional materials and specific guidance for young people will be sent to schools for the start of the school year.
"We want all schools and other youth organisations to take part in this huge national event and organise their own activities during the week," said Vanessa Cooper, national co-ordinator for the alliance.
