Changing patterns, changing lives -- Attachment and the impact of early childhood trauma.

The quality of the relationship between infants and their primary care giver is crucial to a child's development to adulthood. Disruption to that early relationship, no matter what the cause, is all too common.

The Partnership Support Unit, with support from Children in Wales and other partners, is organising a conference to explore aspects of attachment theory. Delegates will have an opportunity to hear international expert Dr Dan Hughes talk about an attachment-focused treatment he has developed.

The conference will be held on 5 November at the All Nations Centre, Cardiff. For further information, please email sue.whitford@wlga.gov.uk.
