The event, to be held at the Curve Theatre in Rutland Street, Leicester on Friday 19 March, will draw together young researchers aged 11 to 25 and provide face-to-face networking opportunities as well as a platform to share research findings and creative ways of doing research. Workshops will run on safeguarding young researchers in the field, commissioning standards and the role of the citizenship curriculum in training young researchers.
Event organiser Dr Darren Sharpe said: "The young researcher fair addresses the value of young people's involvement in research and how young people's research impacts on policymakers and decision makers, communities and services. Delegates will share and learn what young researchers are doing, what creative methodologies are being deployed and how best to secure and work with groups of young researchers."
