Developed by the National Youth Agency (NYA), the resource will help young people identify issues that are important to them, organise a campaign, challenge decision makers and bring about change. It has been developed through work with young people across the country and builds on the National Youth Agency's Hear by Right standards and Act by Right practice.
The resource's five-stage plan provides activities on forming a working relationship within the group; identifying issues to explore; formulating an action plan; developing and delivering a campaign; and reviewing what has changed. It has been developed in conjunction with a group of young people making up The Youth of Today's Youth Leadership Team, which continues to use, review and develop the Challenge and Lead resource moving forward.
