My Week - A little bit of resilience goes a long way

Monday: In Windsor today and tomorrow running the FPA sexual health and resilience training at an extended schools centre.

It is one of those places where you walk in and just know from the decor and atmosphere that it would be a great place to bring your children.

The day goes well. Afterwards, I marvel at Windsor Castle and wonder if the Queen is at home - the flag is raised, but I think this is because I am in town!

Tuesday: The focus of the training today is on the concept of society's charmed circles, and the pressure to belong to them.

Young people definitely don't belong. So often we see them as being part of the "outer limits". This can have a huge impact on their development and self-esteem.
