When I was 13 I fell pregnant. I was so scared, not physically but emotionally.

After seven months of keeping the secret from my parents and my school, I had to tell them. The school informed me that, for insurance reasons, I would have to attend a referral unit while I was pregnant.

After having my daughter a week before Christmas I had severe post-natal depression. I was allowed only six weeks' maternity leave before the baby was born and then six weeks after. I was told that if I delayed I would not be allowed to return to my previous school but would have to stay in the referral unit, which was full of children who didn't want to learn.
