Multi-Agency Working: Hodge's children's centres concerns

Children's minister Margaret Hodge has admitted she still has much to do to combat concerns of professionals over multi-agency working.

The minister said she was concerned about fears raised by delegates at a children's centres conference, organised by the Daycare Trust and the National Council of Voluntary Child Care Organisations.

The questions focused on concerns that education would take over children's centres, which are designed to draw together services for under-fives.
