The "school gates recruitment service", run by social enterprise Women Like Us, employs advisers to offer job opportunities to mothers as they drop off their children at school.
The organisation also offers coaching to women who lack the confidence to return to work and hosts information events at schools to help them think about suitable work options.
Karen Mattison, co-founder of Women Like Us, said: "We were blown away by the number of women at the school gates who want to get back into work but don't know how. We could find jobs for all kinds of women."
