Mental health: Bedford scheme to target young men

The 80,000 Breakout pilot project will launch in the next few weeks, with half of its funding coming from the National Institute, and half from local funders including Connexions, Bedford Primary Care Trust and the Campaign Against Living Miserably.

The one-year project aims to improve training so professionals have a better understanding of how to boost young men's mental wellbeing.

The bid was one of only three successful applications out of 27 submitted nationwide.
