Media: Award-winning Zeal to continue

The short-term future of youth magazine Zeal has been resolved after Thurrock Council secured additional funding.

The autumn and winter issue was cancelled due to staff shortages and funding problems but a council spokesman confirmed that an undisclosed amount of money has been secured for a further two issues.

The title won the Best Youth Magazine category at Young People Now's Positive Images Awards in 2006.
