The Department for Education and Skills will work with 10 localauthorities and 51 schools that are backing the scheme. The project willseek to establish "clear protocols for setting up these arrangements andestablishing under what circumstances it is suitable".
Children's minister Beverley Hughes said: "This type of provision won'tbe right for every child so we will look carefully at when it isappropriate."
