How much is on offer: There's a total of £1.6m up for grabs. The money will go to either one or two organisations that provide support services to councils in London. The organisations will be expected to target people living in social housing. Up to £400,000 will be available each year over four years.
What it will fund: The money will bankroll projects that work with deprived families. These need to be delivered in a small geographical area, such as a housing estate, that crosses the boundary of two London boroughs. The work must help families to address issues such as poverty, unemployment and their children's performance at school.
