The organisation helps LGBT young people in Scotland. Launched in 2006, the charter is designed to help youth groups tailor their services to LGBT young people.
Organisations that sign up to the scheme receive a toolkit offering advice on making sure their services cater for these young people. After carrying out the training on using the toolkit, the organisations get a charter mark from LGBT Youth Scotland to show they have undertaken the work.
The charity then catches up with the organisation six months later to check that work is still being carried out and that LGBT young people are being provided with proper support.
