A guide for young trans people in the UK has been produced by young trans people in conjunction with transsexual youth project, Sci:dentity and Gay and Lesbian Youth in Calderdale.
Jan Bridget, manager of the Calderdale project, said: "We consulted young trans people and they decided they needed a booklet with information on being transsexual."
The booklet was funded with about 2,000 from the DoH as well as a contribution from the Wellcome Trust.
