Letter: Infant immunisation

1 min read
I am conducting an investigation into infant immunisation in the capital for the London Assembly. I would like to hear parents' views.

The assembly's health committee first investigated infant immunisationin 2002, and published a report of its findings in January 2003. Sincethen, the capital's rates of immunisation have continued to remain lowerthan the rest of the country.

I hope to find out why this is the case, with a view to looking at howlevels across London can be increased. I would like to hear views fromparents about the following issues:

- Have you vaccinated your children? If not, what is preventing you fromdoing so?

- Were you given enough advice and information about immunisation?

- What do you think could be done to improve immunisation rates inLondon?
