Labour Party Conference Brief: Voluntary sector asked to make afuss

The voluntary sector has been told to "kick up a stink" if local authorities do not involve them in children's trusts. Maria Eagle, junior children's minister, told a conference meeting to let the Department for Education and Skills know if this happened and they would take action.
