Jump for joy: Brownies take the stage at the World in One City event

Brownies, Rainbows, Guides and Senior Section Guides learned new skills in art workshops in Liverpool.

The groups from all over the UK visited the European Capital of Culture to learn dance, music, song and filmmaking as part of the World in One City event - a celebration of the Guides and Scouts' World Thinking Day. At the end of the day, the girls assembled at the New Echo Arena to perform their skills. Sam Mason, head of marketing for World in One City, said: "The highlight was seeing the girls perform routines and songs they'd learned only a few hours earlier."
