Judges confirmed for Services Awards as deadline looms

There are just three weeks left to enter this year's Children and Young People's Services Awards, organised by CYP Now in association with the Children's Workforce Development Council (CWDC). To download an entry form, go to www.cypnow.co.uk and click on Awards. The deadline for entries is 11 July.

Children's Secretary Ed Balls is to open the awards ceremony on the evening of Thursday 20 November at the Hurlingham Club in Fulham, west London.

CYP Now has assembled a judging panel packed with an array of talent and expertise to study entries in 23 categories, which represent the full spectrum of services for children and young people.

The confirmed judges are: Simon Antrobus, chief executive of Clubs for Young People; Maggie Atkinson, president of the Association of Directors of Children's Services; Fran Beck, director of children and young people's services at Telford & Wrekin Primary Care Trust; Fiona Blacke, chief executive of The National Youth Agency; Michael Bracey, head of Southend Youth Service; Stella Charman, director of CAMHS Consultants; John Coughlan, director of children's services at Hampshire County Council; John Freeman, director of children's services at Dudley Council; Kevin Gallagher, director of operations at Bryn Melyn.
