Workforce: Judges for service awards announced

Professionals from sectors including workforce development, health and social care, have signed up to judge the second annual Children and Young People's Services Awards.

The awards are organised by Children Now and its sister title YoungPeople Now.

Judges for this year's awards, sponsored by the Children's WorkforceDevelopment Council, include: Jane Haywood, the council's chiefexecutive; Anthony Douglas, chief executive of Cafcass; Brendan McNutt,founder of the Bryn Melyn Grooup; Fran Beck, director of children'sservices at Telford & Wrekin Primary Care Trust; and Vic Sandel,national adviser (children and young people) at the Improvement &Development Agency.

Roger Morgan, children's rights director at Ofsted, will also be ajudge.
