JOINT INSPECTIONS: Consultation is rushed, says social workers chief

The deadline for responses to a discussion paper on the joint inspection of childrens services has been described as ridiculously short. Ian Johnston, director of the British Association of Social Workers, said that the initial deadline of 4 June did not give people enough time to respond to the 11 questions.
