Eleven of the town's children's centres now house the touch-screen kiosks, which provide information about early education, family support, outreach, health services and training and job opportunities.
Lisa Norval, performance and evaluation officer at Rotherham Council, said they were installed because referrals to other agencies didn't always work. "The kiosks are proving very popular and we've seen a steady increase in the amount of information requested," she said.
Under the Childcare Act, councils are obliged to inform parents about early years services.
