The project will be funded by the National Lottery Fund, which has just awarded the Daycare Trust the maximum possible grant of £10,000. The grant is awarded for people to take part in art, sports and heritage events as well as projects that promote education, the environment and health in the local community.
Daycare Trust joint chief executive Emma Knights said: "Refugee families face the biggest barriers in participating in the support available to parents. This project will encourage refugee parents and their children to take an active part in the neighbourhood in which they live."
