Parents and children enjoyed games, face painting and bouncy castles at a party to launch Smith's Wood Children's Centre in Solihull last week. The centre is run by charity NCH in partnership with local agencies. It is based at the site of a former family centre, which has been revamped and now hosts a 50-place nursery.
