Imaginary world: Children express themselves through craft

Children who have just moved to the UK have been working with crafts development agency Craftspace to create puppet-based short animations. The project, A World Imagined 2, sees children from Chandos School in Highgate, Birmingham, working alongside artists to develop their self-confidence and express themselves by writing stories based on characters that they have created. The six- and seven-year-old children have been developing their communication skills by creating characters, writing stories and making puppets.
