The federation is calling for the abolition of the rule that prevents over-18s claiming housing benefit if they are in education. It also wants homeless young people to have better access to learning, and for Jobcentre Plus to have greater flexibility to decide if training or volunteering would increase their future prospects.
The campaign web site will go live this week, and there will be a pre-launch event at the Focus Foyer in Birmingham. On Monday next week a series of posters will be unveiled in Westminster tube station, and an early day motion will be tabled so MPs can register their support for the campaign.
