3 mins read

YES - Andy Piercy, general secretary of the Woodcraft Folk

It is right if it is part of your educational programme to involve young people in political demonstrations. Our approach to issues is education and democratic participation, depending on what our members want to do.

We're currently running a baby milk campaign where group members are boycotting Nestle products in protest about the company's lack of adherence to the World Health Organisation's guidelines on the marketing of baby milk.

We also link with fair trade issues that young people have discussed, and we encourage them to support it by providing educational materials.
