They built a wildlife garden and a woodland walk, and redesigned the sensory garden and raised planting areas. Children also bought a wormery to help with composting and classes have blue recycle boxes to collect paper, cardboard and plastic bottles. As well as making sure lights are switched off when leaving a room and reminding their teacher to switch off CD players at the end of a lesson, pupils from the Year 2 Green Team accompany the caretaker to take energy meter readings once a week.
