The teenagers from Coventry are wearing their hoodies and doing positive activities in the community such as selling poppies for the Royal British Legion for Remembrance Day.
The young people, all members of the UK Youth Parliament, are fed up of young people being stereotyped in the media and often getting bad publicity.
April Donnelly, project manager of the Democracy Project, which is part of Coventry City Council's youth service, is overseeing the campaign.
She said: "The young people are using hoodies as a metaphor and are trying to get the message out that young people aren't bad. They want to change the negative view that many people have of them. The campaign has been really positive. Some elderly people have stopped and talked to them and it has helped to break down barriers."
