The Communities and Local Government department has spent 350,000 on the media centres, through a grant to Foyer.
The 10 foyers, which cater for homeless 16- to 25-year-olds, include two in Birmingham, plus foyers in Bradford, Brighton and Hove, Exeter, east London, Plymouth, Ravenhead, Sunderland and Yeovil.
In Exeter, the foyer received 10,000 from the funding to purchase a soundproof booth to enable young people to record music.
Hazel Craddock, foyer manager, said: We have a 36-bed foyer and all residents will be able to use the media centre.
