Hill to take lead role at UK Youth

Youth Work
Youth work charity UK Youth has announced that Charlotte Hill is to replace John Bateman as chief executive.

Bateman is to retire in November after 36 years at the charity. Hill, who is currently UK Youth's communications and advocacy manager, joined the charity last year after previously working for NSPCC.

Derek Casey, chair of trustees at UK Youth, said Bateman would leave a strong legacy for young people but added: "Under Hill's future leadership, we look forward to building on the many recent achievements of the charity."
