High School Musical lures pupils to eat school meals

1 min read Education Health
The School Food Trust is to entice children to eat school meals with the help of Disney's popular film series High School Musical.

From 1 September, promotion packs will be distributed to almost every school in England to coincide with the launch of High School Musical 3.

Children who eat school meals as part of the promotion will be entered into a competition to win prizes, such as MP3 players and tickets to the premiere.

Schools will also have the chance to take part in Dining Hall Disco, a competition that will see children film themselves performing dance routines to music from the film. Children will be encouraged to film the dances in their school canteen. The winning school will host a High School Musical prom.
