Help from ... Child Death Helpline

The Child Death Helpline is a listening service that offers emotional support to all those affected by the death of a child.

Open to bereaved parents, siblings, relatives, friends, teachers, emergency services staff and healthcare professionals, the helpline provides an opportunity to talk in confidence with someone who has also experienced the death of a child.

The volunteers who staff the service recognise the powerful emotions and sometimes frightening feelings involved in a bereavement, the long-term nature of grief, and significant times such as birthdays, anniversaries and other family events and milestones.
