Cardiff Health Board has said it cannot afford to contribute towards theannual 1.1m running costs of the Children's Hospital for Wales.Its final phase was to include an intensive care unit, operatingtheatres and surgical wards.
At a meeting last Wednesday, the board said it was not convinced theproposal would meet children's medical needs.
However, in an open letter to the board, Lyn Jones, chair of thetrustees of local campaigning group the Noah's Ark Appeal, said theboard saw the hospital as "low priority".
