The campaign, by North Fulham New Deal for Communities (NDC), coincideswith the introduction of a ban on smoking in public places in Englandfrom 1 July. It consists of a series of billboards featuring childrenand the message: "We love Smoke Free Fulham".
As part of the campaign, pupils will gauge how many people smoke intheir area, and schools will be encouraged to compare results to drivedown figures.
Schools will run extended services, such as smoking groups, alongsideschemes to broker jobs for parents and build their skills.
Abigail Gilbert, health and wellbeing manager at the NDC, said thecampaign combined encouraging parents to give up smoking with helpingthem achieve something in its place.
