Asbestosis is a chronic lung condition, caused by prolonged exposure to asbestos, which results in shortness of breath. Last week it was claimed some British schools are not meeting a legal duty to protect pupils and staff from asbestos. A survey of 16 schools by the Asbestos Training and Consultancy Association said none of them was meeting health and safety rules on managing the substance
