Health News: Child protection - London workers network launched

A network for doctors and nurses working in child protection across London has been launched.

Andrew Turnbull, London programme director for children and young peopleat the Care Services Improvement Partnership (CSIP), which isfacilitating the network, said: "We're going to bring together all thedesignated doctors and nurses on a six-monthly period." He added thatfollowing a meeting of the capital's children's primary care trust leadslast month, a London-based group for them was to meet quarterly.

The move follows the launch of a secure dedicated discussion forum fornationwide named and designated professionals, also by CSIP.
