Earlier this year the Government announced it planned to protect publichealth money by making local authorities and primary care trusts worktowards a joint set of health and social care outcomes (Children Now,15-21 March 2007).
Last week it revealed the draft framework setting out the 40 indicatorsdesigned to achieve this, including helping under-fives to be healthierand managing children and adults' weight.
