Health News: Adolescent Health - Champions to help promote agenda

The Government is to establish a team of adolescent health champions to ensure that adolescent health is not sidelined from the children's agenda, Children Now has learned.

The Department for Education and Skills has identified a number of leading practitioners from different parts of the country and is expected to make an announcement within weeks.

The practitioners will be charged with promoting good practice, to go around the country collating information, and identifying areas where adolescent health professionals are not fully engaging with other services.
